Lessons and fees

Vienna Piano School offers private classical piano lessons online and, from October 2026, at piano studios in Ikebukuro and Shinjuku, Tokyo.

The 55-minute trial lesson is free. Online lessons are US$40 for 60 minutes or US$60 for 90 minutes. In-person lessons are US$40 for 55 minutes, including studio use. In-person advanced preparation fees are agreed after the trial.

Inquiries and bookings

• Submitting an inquiry does not confirm a booking. We will reply with availability and, if it looks like a good fit, offer a free trial.
• After reviewing your inquiry, we may suggest a different lesson format or schedule based on your level, goals, location, and availability.
• After the trial, lessons are booked individually. A lesson is confirmed once its time and payment arrangements have been agreed.

Scheduling and cancellations

• To request a reschedule, please give more than 48 hours' notice.
• Subject to availability, the replacement lesson must take place within the same calendar month.
• Lessons canceled 48 hours or less before the scheduled start cannot be rescheduled.
• If the studio cancels a lesson, we will offer another time.

Privacy and analytics

When you submit the inquiry form, we collect the details you provide, including contact information, age, piano experience, goals, availability, and guardian details where applicable. We use this information to respond, assess lesson needs, arrange trial lessons, and administer lessons.

Inquiry details are stored on the school's server and sent to the studio by email. They are not sold or used for unrelated marketing.

The school assistant uses prepared answers and published articles. Chat questions are processed on our server to find an answer, but ordinary chat messages are not retained there. Conversation history is kept in your browser tab and can be cleared in the chat. Temporary, pseudonymous request counters help prevent abuse.

If you choose to contact Vienna Piano School through the chat, we store your name, reply address, question, source page, and only the recent conversation you choose to attach. Trial requests submitted inside the chat also include the lesson preferences, age, experience, goals, availability and guardian details you provide in the trial form. These details are emailed to the school to answer your request and arrange lessons. Chat inquiry records are removed from the active server database after 180 days; backup copies expire within a further 30 days. Email correspondence may be retained for lesson administration. No chat content is sent to an external AI provider.

This site uses Google Analytics, which uses cookies to collect information about how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed and general device and location data. Google may process this data outside Japan under its own terms.

Inquiry records are retained for administrative purposes. To request access, correction, or deletion of your information, email contact@viennapianoschool.com.

For students under 18, a parent or guardian should approve the inquiry and provide their contact details.
