Training, teaching and other work

Training

Enea grew up in Vienna and completed bachelor's and master's studies in solo piano performance there, with further studies at Mozarteum University Salzburg.

That training continues to shape his approach to sound, rhythm, technique, and the score in lessons.

Teaching

Lessons begin by identifying what is not working, understanding why, and finding a solution without losing sight of the music.

The issue may lie in movement, coordination, tone, rhythm, structure, or the way you practice; the answer depends on the student and the piece.

Online lessons

Online lessons use multiple camera angles and clear audio, allowing detailed feedback on movement, technique, and sound.

Online study works either as a regular format or alongside in-person lessons.

Language support

Vienna Piano School also offers English and German support for musicians, including practical vocabulary, terminology found in scores, and preparation for study abroad.

This can be added to piano lessons or arranged as a separate course.

Other work

Alongside teaching and performing, Enea makes educational videos for pianists.

His Piano Tech Support videos cover technique, practice methods, and repertoire, drawing on many of the same questions that arise in lessons.

Josh’s path to a music degree

Josh prepared Ravel’s Ondine from Gaspard de la nuit with Enea for his audition at the University of Melbourne. He went on to study piano in its Bachelor of Music programme, continuing lessons with Enea for university exams — including Scriabin’s Piano Sonata No. 5.
